2020 Canadian Carbapenemase-producing enterobacteriaceae (CPE) Screening Survey for Hospitals and Long-term Care Facilities

Dear IPAC Canada member,

The IPAC Canada – Surveillance and Applied Epidemiology Interest Group (SAEIG) invites you to participate in a Carbapenemase Producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) Screening Practices survey for hospitals and long-term care facilities. This survey is being conducted in order to understand how CPE Screening is being performed across Canada, what screening barriers facilities might be experiencing, and what risk factors are used to determine the need for testing of inpatients and outpatients in acute and long- term care facilities.

You are invited to complete the survey, which will remain open until December 11, 2020. Provincial/territorial level data will be captured and reported. Individual facility data will not be recorded.

This survey may be shared with individuals who are not IPAC Canada members – please feel free to share the survey link with any colleagues who may be interested in completing the survey. A summary report of responses will be made available.
