IPAC Canada Essentials in Infection Prevention and Control Course
Sponsored by IPAC Canada. Online Course.
Applications for the 2023 Regular Program course will be accepted until July 2, 2023.
Applications for the 2023 Accelerated Course are now closed.
- Accelerated Program Course Students will be advised of their acceptance by March 19, 2023.
- Regular Program Course runs September 2023 to June 2024. Deadline for applications is July 2, 2023. Students will be advised of their acceptance by July 16, 2023.
Admission to the Accelerated Program requires students to be actively working in an Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) role - or transitioning into an IPAC role. Because this is an accelerated version of the course, a signed letter of support from the student's employer is required (see below for downloadable template).
Preference for admission into the Regular program will be given to novice IPAC practitioners with less than 2 years' experience. Applications will also be considered from others working in healthcare and/or exploring opportunities in infection prevention and control.
