DESCRIPTION: Workplace diversity initiatives are in rapid retreat south of the border, and backlash in Canada is looming. But in order for the country to become the meritocracy it strives to be, we need to fully embrace measures to eliminate barriers in our workplaces. (Globe & Mail, February 8, 2025). DEI has never been more under threat. Dr. Wendy Cukier, founder of the Diversity Institute and academic research director of Future Skills Centre, will address managing this backlash.
