Every day ICPs are challenged to reduce the spread of infections. ICPs faced with this challenge are tasked with having to implement interventions. All of this puts a lot of pressure on ICPs to own solving problems and be the experts themselves of many elements from Construction, Disinfection, Surgical Asepsis, etc. This talk will challenge this thought process and instead introduce collaborative Change Management Frameworks, sharing tactics, academic literature and tools that are helpful in inspiring change. This talk will help add to the tool box of an ICP through providing thoughts to ponder. BARLEY CHIRONDA, a Registered Practical Nurse certified in infection prevention and control, is also the National Healthcare Sales Director and Infection Control Specialist with Clorox Canada. Barley is typically found engaged in motivating hospital staff, patients and the public on proper infection prevention practices. Barley also volunteers as the Infection Control Specialist with the Cdiff Foundation.
