Webinar: The Cost of Outbreaks

Outbreaks can incur a significant cost to health care facilities. However, the financial value associated with outbreaks in Canada hasn’t been deeply investigated. At our large acute care facility, we have developed a real time cost calculation tool to accurately describe the financial burden outbreaks incur. We considered the intricacies and nuances of different types of outbreaks and use our findings to persuade a culture shift to outbreak preventative strategies.
