National Infection Control Week October 14th-18th

The third full week in October is designated as National Infection Control Week in Canada and the United States. As you prepare for NICW 2019, have a look at the resources available through IPAC Canada on our National Infection Control Week webpage. You will find:

  1. 2019 Media Release - for use when informing local media or other groups about your NICW activities
  2. 2019 NICW Poster - The theme for 2019 is 'Infection Prevention and Control in Every Season'. You can download individual posters or order posters in bulk using the Bulk Poster Order form.
  3. NICW Resources - ideas and resources for your NICW activities

We'd love to share your photos and social media posts of your NICW activities! You can send photos of your displays, activities, educational events, or even a staff/group photo to socialmedia@ipac-canada.org .

If you tweet or post about your activities on other social media channels, remember to use the hashtags #NICW and #IPAC, and tag us (@IPACCanada). Our social media manager, Kelsey Houston, can create a post mentioning your NICW activities on our Facebook page, if you're not on social media. You can also email us pictures we can post on our web site.

Be proud of the work that you do to promote NICW and IPAC in your organization, and share your creative ideas. If you want your stories and pictures included in the Spring 2020 IPAC Canada Association News, send us high-res photos and write-ups no later than February 1, 2020. Content for Association News should be emailed to info@ipac-canada.org with the Subject Line 'NICW 2019'. The author of one submission could win a $50 Indigo/Chapters gift card!

We look forward to seeing - and sharing - your great ideas!
