Erratum: Revised CARSS 2017 Report

The Canadian Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System Team would like to bring to your attention some errors regarding the carbapenem resistance data presented in the Canadian Antimicrobial Resistance Surveillance System (CARSS) 2017 report. The team is in the process of making corrections to the report posted online and please find attached a corrected version of this report, along with details of the corrections described below.  Note that the interpretation of the data is not impacted and therefore does not change; the rates of carbapenamase-producing organisms (CPO), carbapenemase-producing Enterobacteriaceae (CPE) and carbapenemase-producing Acinetobacter (CPA) remain low. More information.
