Communications to Ministers of Health

In recent weeks IPAC Canada has written to all provincial Ministers of Health, advocating for vaccine reporting in all public schools. In addition, we have written to the Ontario Minister of Health urging a demonstrated commitment to the health of Ontarians, in light of the province's new public health funding formula. Specifically, IPAC Canada recommended: Funding levels for infection prevention and control services be maintained to protect public health, Resources are put in place to respond to public health threats, such as antimicrobial resistance, vaccine hesitancy, communicable diseases, and emerging pathogens; Current numbers of infection prevention and control professionals be maintained, to manage outbreaks in local healthcare and community settings.

These communications can be viewed on our Government Relations page, at https://ipac-canada.org/government-relations
