SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands campaign for 5 May 2018

As the theme is health care-associated sepsis prevention and hand hygiene/infection prevention, the slogan is:

‘It’s in your hands – prevent sepsis in health care’.

The WHO are now asking you, as important stakeholders to be leading advocates for the campaign by:

Encouraging health facilities to sign up to the campaign

  • Posting information in your newsletters, etc and featuring a link to the campaign on your web pages (WHO will link back to those who feature the campaign on their web pages to acknowledge the organisation)
  • Joining WHO in promoting and using #handhygiene #sepsis on social media
  • Actively using the campaign wording and resources between now and 5 May, e.g. those featured in the newsletter
  • Encouraging everyone to check the campaign web page (which will be launched on 1 Feb) to keep up to date and make use of all existing and new resources.
