Surge Capacity - Correctional Services Canada

Correctional Services Canada is seeking surge capacity for infection prevention and control (IPAC) expertise to assist with outbreak management for COVID-19 in federal correctional facilities. The main task will be to assess and strengthen measures to prevent/contain COVID transmission within these institutions. The key activities will include:

i.    Review and assess infection prevention and control practices at institutions

ii.   Review and assess COVID related workplace health and safety practices

Correctional Services Canada and the Public Health Agency have asked for IPAC Canada's assistance in identifying Infection and Prevention and Control experts who are available and qualified in carrying out these important activities. A certification in infection prevention and control (CIC designation) will be an asset.

Any interested persons should contact Jacqueline Arthur at jacqueline.arthur@canada.ca (1-613-889-8455) as soon as possible. Kindly copy me (executivedirector@ipac-canada.org ) on your email to Jacqueline Arthur.

Many thanks for your consideration.

Gerry Hansen BA, IPAC Canada Executive Director
