PHAC Review

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) develops and disseminates national evidence-based infection prevention and control (IPC) guidance for healthcare settings and performs periodic assessments to identify potential gaps.  PHAC is currently conducting a review of the 2002 Prevention and Control of Occupational Infections in Health Care Guideline.

As part of the review process, PHAC is conducting a needs assessment to increase understanding of the needs related to emerging issues and gaps in IPC guidance specific to occupational infections. PHAC would like to request your support on this important endeavour by inviting you to complete the questionnaire and to distribute the questionnaire throughout your networks. Your feedback is important and will help to inform the revision of the 2002 guideline.   Please click here  (or paste this link in your browser: https://na1se.voxco.com/SE/?st=xwjTYxFyhQcjuvDxYRKETj24Lo8pRSXRiDn9D6knEyk%3d&p=[$PIN]&lang=en) to complete the questionnaire.

Participation is voluntary.  All individual responses will remain anonymous and kept confidential.  The results will be summarized by PHAC and presented in aggregate form only. The questionnaire should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will be available for completion until July 26 2017 at 23:59 Eastern Standard Time.

Should you have any questions, please contact Andrea Coady at andrea.coady@hc-sc.gc.ca.
