The IPAC Program Audit Tool (PAT©) is designed for internal auditing of a health care organization’s IPAC program, to verify that the IPAC program standards are being met. The PAT© may also be used as part of an organization’s ongoing quality improvement program and/or to prepare for external audits (audits carried out by outside agencies such as Accreditation Canada). The audit tool has been condensed into a standalone workbook for the convenience of the auditor.

Accelerated Course 2026

IPAC Canada Essentials in Infection Prevention and Control Course March 30, 2026 to August 2026

Registration for the 2026 course is now closed.

The Accelerated Essentials in IPAC course is a condensed (5-month) version of our Regular 10 month course.
Applicants should be actively working in an infection prevention and control role – or be transitioning into an IPAC role. A letter of support from your employer is required, due to the time requirements to complete the course.

APPLICANTS MUST ONLY APPLY FOR ONE COURSE OFFERING AT A TIME
(Accelerated Course, OR the Regular Course)

If you are not accepted into the Accelerated Course, you may re-apply to the Regular Course  if you wish. (Employer Letter of Support not required for the Regular Course.)

Applications for the Accelerated Course are due by March 20, 2026. Course start date is March 30th. Students will be notified of their acceptance by March 24th, 2026. A completed Tuition Payment Form (see below) must be uploaded when you apply.

Tuition
Tuition for the Accelerated Course is $1790.00 CDN (tax exempt). International applicants must pay by bank draft. See Tuition Payment Form below.

A T2202 tax form will be issued to Canadian students, for income tax purposes. It is a requirement of the Canada Revenue Agency that we file a T2202 form for qualifying students, even if your tuition is paid by a third party or by your employer, you may be entitled to additional tax credits. These rules vary from province to province. As such, students must provide their Social Insurance Number at the time of registration (you will be prompted to do so within the Online Application Form.

Ensure you also have your current C.V./resume saved as a PDF in the file format  lastname_firstname_resume
Canadian students: Have your S.I.N. number ready to upload.

Download Course Tuition Payment Form complete and upload when prompted.

After completing your online application below and uploading the requisite documents, you will receive an e-confirmation from the system. If you do NOT receive it, please email admin@ipac-canada.org and we will verify whether your application was received.
